Well, seeing as #amberturd is ‘trending’ now, maybe we don’t want a storm Amber. Bearing in mind the incident in the bed as well

    ..and filthy!

Let's hope Storm Meghan stays away from our shores until after the Jubilee celebrations at least..and preferably ends up in deepest Antarctica!

Woman's a psychopath. Elaine's having a constant brain melt. I have a lady crush on Camille..

Pulisa, just realised I said Parliament, should have been Court. Lol. Must have been on a different planet yesterday. No, we definitely don't want a Meghan storm.
What's everyone doing for the Jubilee? Anyone having a picnic on the green and a sing song waving our flag on a stick? No doubt at lot of road closures and upheaval for that day.

While I have been guilty of such things myself on occasions over the years, I often wonder many of us fall into the traps of 'faux outrage' and 'faux grief', over incidents/events involving persons/establishments we've never even known 'in person'?

The biggest bugbear for me personally in terms of 'faux grief' was the mass hysteria in the wake of Princess Diana's death back in 1997, even from people who weren't necessarily fanatical about royalty in general.

I'm glad the Amber Turd things been mentioned. I keep dipping in to watch bits, although I am quite embarrassed by my fascination with it.

It's a ghastly spectacle, isn't it...but worryingly addictive viewing. Similarities in personality with a certain long suffering Duchess of ours?

Don't think there are any Jubilee street parties in my area, Carnation..I'm sure there will be wall to wall coverage of events on TV though. Just hope the Queen manages to get through it..She looks to be pretty badly affected with osteoporosis? Must be awful trying to be cheerful when you're in pain and the nation is scrutinising your every move.

Not much my way either Pulisa. Not that I'd be rushing to suddenly socialise with a load of strangers. So the box it is then. Might do a buffet that day.
Just remembered something when I used to ask my mum what was for dinner. She'd often reply, "sh it with sugar on it". Lol. Those were the days.

Which also reminds me. If you smile or laugh, it apparently stops the fight or flight response. Lol, if only it was that simple.
