Now, I've typed that, it will probably come back?
Right, quickly get and type out all your anxiety symptoms on this thread and hopefully voila they will be gone! It's like when you go to the doctors and magically get better for 10 minutes!

I was wondering if there was an environmental trigger? Cold weather makes my nose run more and it also affects asthma. Asthma is all about extra production of mucus. So, I wonder if something is triggering your mucus through those months?

If so, could you treat your histamine? I don't know about PND, do maybe the others on here can answer that? If so, you could try to treat it like hayfever season and experiment with a few remedies?

    Thanks for your reply AntsyVee.

It is bloomin wonderful to sleep through the night without being choked in the middle of the night with all that gunge.

I can't believed it has stopped.

Sorry Terry, just noticed your reply.

That's a good idea about listing your symptoms so they disappear.
Somehow, I don't think it will work though.

I wonder if it cleared up because of the very cold spell of weather we have had recently, but I am more likely to believe it had just run it's course.

What did you do to get rid of it before? Was it post-nasal drip as I suggested?

Antsy vee, I think it is.
Blocked nose, runny nose, eyes watery, scratchy throat, coughing in the night and bringing up sticky white stuff, bouts of sneezing.
I thought it was hay fever, but it should be gone by now.
I seem to get it on and off, but much more lately.
I didn't do anything really last time, just lots of liquids and rest. It just went.
But summertime, I am normally free of it.

You can get post-nasal drip at any time of the year. My husband and I always get it at least a couple times a year. His causes him to cough.

Sudafed, nasal spray, antihistamine for allergies. Start treating it.

Considering the itchy & runny eyes this does sound like an allergy, Carnation. I would do as Vee says and see if antihistamine reduces it. If so, you know a bit about what it is and just need to determine any triggers for it.

A weird one I've been getting is ever since they put me on BP meds I get more itching. It's died down greatly but when I have my anxiety blips now and my adrenaline levels are up I now get some itching and my skin can feel fiery. It's never been a symptom before and only came from the side effects of these new meds. I suspect the anxiety just piles itself on top of a low level inconvenience.

If you find antihistamine helps I would also consider infra red treatment. Nothing much helped my hayfever when it was bad put these machines are brilliant. I would always get hayfever every year but some years it was low level. In the past 5-10 years I've barely had much most years. This year I can count the days on one hand.

Re: White sticky phelgm causing choking and coughing fits

    Thank you AntsyVee and Terry.
I think I do need to treat it with something now.
Coupled with bad hay fever this year, which I don't normally get, it's been quite bad.
People keep commenting my eyes look tired, but it's all the water streaming and itching.
Terry, some BP meds do cause itching. My mum used to tear her legs to pieces with hers.
Is there some cream can use to prevent this?
