Almost constant fear of heart problems

Surely all they can tell is whether something was happening in that moment to my heart not if I’m on my way very soon to having an event?

That's probably just muscle tension because you are looking for a bad event and tense up which then causes you to get a reaction.

Yes I totally try and tell myself this a good few times a day. Not sure why I can’t get it through properly to myself

i have had 3 ECG's in my life , on at 16 , one at around 23/24 and had one recently , i'm 27.

i still worry , 75% of the time i don't worry but today i had palps and now i'm now struggling, i wish i could cope better
