Symptoms of coming off Citalopram suddenly

Hello there,

So I am really stupid and forgot to renew my prescription before the weekend, so today's my third day of not taking citalopram 20mg. I know from the past that even 1-2 days of missing a tablet can make me go somewhat irrational and... mental. (My POOR, poor boyfriend...)

Anyways. I am doing my best to stay positive, and I reckon I've done a good job so far - but I gotta say feeling pretty peculiar this afternoon - like drunk, lethargic, exhausted. My vision is following slightly behind my gaze which is making me feel dizzy, wobbly and drunk. Also my legs itch like hell.

Guessing it's withdrawal - anyone had similar effects when stopping taking the tablets suddenly?

It's somewhat inconvenient since I have an essay to do...

It's funny, but I'm not on meds yet my vision is constantly drunk like. So think that yours is temporary until you get meds. I've had this for 5 months now. I've accepted it and hopefully they will return to normal.
