One silver lining, at least the first jab rates have edged up since the beginning of this week, so perhaps some are finally starting to wise up to the current situation.
[QUOTE=pulisa;2024658]Three Point, Parametric, Monte Carlo Estimating and simulations. Lots of complex number crunching, which can be misread or interpreted incorrectly if you don't understand the methodology.
Problem is, we are talking about the NHS/Government/Media/Antivaxers reading this information and coming up with 4 different results.
I think there could be some element of truth in that, but sadly, the views and opinions of kids in general are rarely believed, acknowledged and taken seriously enough IMO.
Many kids are actually a lot more intelligent and clued up about many things than we often care to believe.
But if more of that particular are now getting the jabs then that can only be a good thing.
I hear that in some areas, children are now getting intimidated by anti-vaxxers outside where they are going to be vaccinated.
Also anti-vaxxers "serving" pseudo-legal mumbo-jumbo papers in hospitals on medical staff.
Sounds like protestors outside abortion clinics years ago.
Can't say I'm surprised, they erected a gallows outside Parliament recently.

I've noticed this week on the dashboard site since Monday (18th October) the first jab rates have started to increase.
Obviously people now starting to wise up and heed the advice to get jabbed, especially following the ominous warnings in the news over the same period.
Nevertheless, today's cases have dropped down very slightly below 50k (49k), though of course just one day's stats never really tell us the whole story, hence me starting a thread recently asking the opinions of others on here if all Covid dashboard stats should be published weekly rather than daily, as it might be more representative and less vulnerable to the complications involving weekend catch-ups, etc.
