Sertraline - Night Sweats

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this forum so could use a little advice please!

I had been on 50mg Sertraline for about 18 months until a recent bad spate of anxiety. The Dr has increased the dosage to 100mg. Since the increase, I ahve been having really bad night sweats every single night, I am waking up with my clothing and bed sheets soaked.

Has anyone else experienced this with a dosage increase? I don't remember getting it when I started on 50mg!

Yep. Completely normal. Every time you increase your dose it resets the clock and you have a couple of weeks of "non normal" reactions. Just accept them and move through them. In the end it is all worth it. I will eventually work and you will have much more normalcy. I finally found my spot at 150 mg. Hang in there.

It's good to know that other people are experiencing the same thing. It helps make the health anxiety a little less intense.
