I obsessively track my heart rate. Nearly 50+ times a day.

That has to do nothing but drive you crazy, and in the end create more anxiety which creates more fluctuations in heart rate. It’s a brutal cycle.

I’m assuming you’re 36 from your username. If so, and unless told otherwise by a doctor, there’s nothing wrong with your heart. Treating the underlying anxiety will solve most of your symptoms .

Thank you for the response. I am 36.
I’ve also had several eCG’s, heart X-rays, echo, stress test, wore a heart monitor - all has always come back fine.

My last ECG was about 6 months ago so I was worrying something had developed since those tests to now.

I will heed your advice and stop with the monitoring. Or at least try. It does drive me crazy.

I’m an ex-nurse. In hospital observations we consider anything below 100bpm to be safe. 100-120bpm would be treat with caution but still not urgent (usually making a junior doctor aware) and anything over 120bpm would require a doctor to come to review you...but it was pretty rare to see those kind of heart rates unless a patient was in a state of panic or had been exercising! Other factors come into play too, like blood pressure and temperature. Your heart can race for so many reasons!
This definitely sounds like a panic attack, especially given your history of anxiety and reassuring test results! Focus on slowing your breathing and taking deep breaths in-and slow breaths out. This will bring your heart rate back down too!

    I’m feeling much better.
So throughout the day my heart rate will go to 117 and even 145 when I’m working. That would be considered safe?

The 100-120 bpm I’m assuming is the resting heart rate?

    Thank you for the response.

Please try this natural medicine for heart problems. I found this medicine in a book from Maria Treben. One day I woke up feeling I had not too much time to live almost giving up and just waiting for the worst I prayed to my father in heaven asking to give me more time. I did pray so many times for God to heal me but that morning I asked him for more time becouse* my family needs me. I was sitting in my living room and stright in front of me there was a book of natural medicine that I had for years but never put too much atention to it. I looked trough the pages and I found this.

"VINO CORDIAL" a 800 year old medicine (translation from spanish)
** 10 branches of parsley (* washed them do not cut)
** 1 litre of organic wine ( row wine no preservatives)
** 2 table spoons of wine vinager
** 300 grms of organic honey

Boil the parsly and vinager in the wine for 10 minutes in medium heat and cover then add the honey and boil for another 4 minutes be careful with the bubbles. Remove the parsly and place the medicine back to the bottle of wine or sterilised bottle. In the book does not say clearly the amounts of medicine to take , it mensions 3 table spoons when need or a day. But I believe to take when you hearts needs it. I take 3 table spoons when I get the palpitations some times I have to take it twice to stop palpitatios. When I first started I took up to 12 spoons* a day to feel good now I get palpitations from now and then. Then I take* 3 Spoons a day and I feel great.
*Please when you do this medicine pray and have faith in God becouse he is in charge the medicine is just one part.
    * I was soo sick that I could not even do normal* tasks at home I felt like 90 year old person who had enough of life.* My heart was going cracy, sometimes it would pump fast, slow or miss a beat, I had headaches, I had trouble to breathe I had pain in my neck sometimes arms I was dizzy, feeling sick, no energy sometimes I was feeling like I was dying!* I* visited my doctor at least 3 times a week! I had so many tests done and they found nothing. I also went few times to the hospital also had many test* done and they found nothing wrong with my heart, so they come to the conclusions* I had palpitations that there was nothing to worry about so they gave up on me. I had not wehere to go so when I was feeling bad I just had to put up with it or wait for the worst.
So friends give it try nothing to lose! God bless you and your medicine don't* forget to pray to the only true God who created the heavens and the earth our Father.

    Is this concerning? Heart palpitations

So I work in a relatively hot environment.
This week has been particularly humid, so getting through the day has been a struggle.

Today after lunch I started to feel a bit dizzy. I walked down the stairs and my heart started beating weird. Like skipping beats and jumping. It lasted for about 10-15 seconds and stopped.

I left work because I wasn’t feeling well and have been in the AC since.
Could it have been heat related? Or anxiety from the heat? Working in the heat makes me feel really uneasy/ill.

About a year and a half ago I had a Echo, stress test and X-rays of my heart and I’ve worn a 72 hour heart monitor and all was OK.
    I’m 36 years old (today actually )

    Should I be worried?

Do you drink enough water? Maybe you was just 'dehydrated'?

Skipping heartbeats are very common, you shouldn't be concerned about them unless you actually 'pass out' or feel 'pain', in your chest, while having an episode.
