Today I walked out of root canal :( I couldn’t breathe with that damn dental dam I feel awful now . Any tips on anxiety I can’t cope atm

I'm not sure about how they do it in the UK but here in the US there are dentists that work with people who have dental anxiety it's usually called sedation dentistry they will do anything from give you a valium before you visit to take the day you come in to giving you laughing gas and in extreme cases IV sedation

I think in some areas of England (not sure about Scotland, Wales and NI though) they have NHS clinics for people with dental anxiety. I know there's one at my local dental hospital and I'm not too sure how you'd get referred...



Nowadays there's a few dentists that offer sedation but I think the majority of them are private customers only :/

I also don't like to visit a dentist's cabinet.It is a terrible thing...brrr...
