Horizontal nail ridges....

Hi all. So liver health is one of my main HA concerns. And today I noticed horizontal ridges on both my thumbnails. Googled it (obviously) and it can be a sign of a serious problem...including liver cirrosis!!! So now obviously freaking out.

Anyone else have horizontal ridges? I've always had vertical ones but not horizontal :(

How many, are they symmetrical?
Common causes are recent minor illnesses or insults. Even some dietary causes.
Then the nail is affected and you notice it only as it grows out.
Had it many times myself after stressful times
Good luck.
You have to have a pretty poorly liver to get it. Never seen it in liver failure.

I have had these since starting on metoprolol, beta blockers can cause them. At least it seems they caused mine.
