Thyroid frustrations

I was recently diagnosed with having a multinodular goitre.
Lots of nodules and cysts.
Yet my blood tests have come back as being normal.
I have alot of the symptoms of an over active thyroid, heart palpitations being the main one.
I don't get seen by the ENT until the 9th April Which I feel is too long! My neck is swollen and is becoming visable now.
I've looked it up and it says that untreated thyroid issues can cause problems with the heart so what with having constant palpitations I'm worried.
I've asked my doctor to test my bloods again but he feels it's unnecessary, I have also read and been told that a thyroid problem is hard to diagnose through blood tests as most of the time they say it's normal and don't look into it far enough.

For a few weeks my anxiety about this was quite bad and I struggled to think rationally but I've calmed down and just want some answers and hopefully someone has some advice or similar experiences to share.

I will add I've had some ecgs done and have been told they are fairly normal

You have had replies on your previous posts, most of which you have deleted.

Perhaps seeing those would help people to answer your fears better.

I deleted my previous posts as i understood that I was being irrational that's why I have written a new one as i feel I am being alot more adult about it
