I know, its just so annoying and the fear inside of me is obviously fearing the worst.....

I am at least eating and drinking okay (for now!)

Cannot wait to see the ENT, I also feel that if this is something very serious that I should raise a complaint with the NHS about my surgery

Well if they do find anything i'd be giving the GP a good slap lol! But I think you'll be fine, however I also think not referring you to give you peace of mind at least, has contributed to your anxiety levels being so high.

I know I feel like shaking them saying 'Hellllllo this is my 9th visit to you with the SAME problem'

The last DR was very patronizing toward me, 'cant refer you on your anxiety' if this is anything I will take my findings to her, shove it in her face, complain to the NHS and change surgeries, might even take the surgery to the local paper!

Don't be scared Kay, even if they do find something don't automatically think the worst. If it was anything bad you'd have lots more symptoms in connection. I actually agree with your doctor that there's no cause for concern, but I don't agree with her not giving you peace of mind and referring you anyway. Unless you're somebody who is always asking to be referred, then where's the harm? You' d think she'd want to know herself wouldn't you.

I am so petrified last weekend I had a serious panic attack at home which resulted in my fiancee nearly kicking me out the door, my throat was sticking together, dry and I thought I had a massive tumor in my throat, this is getting to the point where I think of nothing else at all...

I am getting married in October and should be thinking of dresses and flowers instead I am re-searching throat cancer, stomach cancer and convinced I have this.....

When it all started back in January when I was coughing I stopped smoking and convinced myself I had lung cancer as the doctor sent me for an x-ray which came back clear, then I started coughing again and thought to myself this could be throat cancer for sure!

I will not settle till someone puts a scope down and tells me what on earth my throat is up to :(

No problem, it's easy to let these things overwhelm us. Also, wedding planning isnn't exactly stress free either, which doesn't help With anxiety symptoms.
