    Ta.

I'm going to the neuroscience place in Haywards Heath called Hurstwood Park. I've got to travel an hr away as my hospital doesn't offer NCS & EMG's.

Thinking about it my hospital doesn't offer much these days, just the traditional norovirus from Oct to March lol

You're much better off at a specialist unit. I know there is the travelling but it will be worth it to get a decent and competent service.

The very best of luck! Hope the M23 is flowing smoothly if you are going this way!

Thanks Pulisa. Yes i'm glad it's at a specialist unit and reading the letter it sounds like it's being done by a consultant neurophysiologist which is good.

Luckily i will only need to use the A23 for a couple of junctions, no M23.

    Thanks for the support!

Of course, you're coming up from the coast.

Let us know how you get on and fingers crossed there are no power cuts or needle shortages on the day!

I got the test results on the day as well and nothing bad was found. I was being tested for a problem with numb arm at night and bad neck pain.

    Thanks Nicola.

That'll happen when they plug him into the grid and juice him up.

    Rambo II springs to mind.

Is it like EMS? I've tried that in the past and it's a bit strange when you ramp it up too high on certain muscles causing contractions e.g. the wrists and your fingers curl in a lot.

    Re: NCS & EMG

I've had a NCS on both my arms and it was uncomfortable getting shocked but it wasn't the worst test I've ever had mine was because of overuse injuries from being a professional musician and they found carpal and cubital (ulnsr nerve at the elbow) syndrome in both wrist/elbows which I had surgery on.
