pb's Health anxiety worries thread

I’ve been getting lots of palpitations and pressing my neck to take my pulse and now my neck feels sore, Worried I have damaged the arteries , another mad worry , I know..
Psychiatrist is not calling to next week, support worker is rubbish and I’ve got my nieces for a sleepover tonight, first time since March. I want to enjoy my day, maybe I need a ct scan of my neck..

Thank you, I really want to enjoy my day, it’s been so long since the girls have had a sleep over. I’ve got the room all ready for them x

Ive noticed your comments before and they are offensive !!??!!
For your information , although I don’t need to justify myself to YOU, I have started medication, have had cbt and will have more therapy in the future.

Or maybe you don't. Maybe you have got used to needing scans/procedures to reassure you with minor discomfort.

It will be great to see your nieces and you won't be taken ill in the night and rushed off to hospital...You are allowed to relax your HA monitor today because you have something nice planned and your nieces won't understand HA. You'll be ok and so will they..but you just have to trust yourself xx

But you have got used to living like this and maybe the thought of the void left by a reduction of HA worries is unsettling?

Is the above meant for me? I don’t live my life running to A&E and certainly do not have HA.I have Real Life illness’s that I focus on on,not poking my neck taking my pulse all bloody day.
