Barium Swallow aftermath?

This may be a bit weird/disgusting but I was wondering if you could help me with this. I was told that my bowel moments would be white as the barium pass through my system. So far I had bowel moments today and yesterday but weren’t white, today’s lighter but still not white. Is it normal not to have white bowel movements, any chance that the barium will stay in you system?

No mine weren't white, I was advised to drink lots of water and take more fibre, as the barium is heavy and can stick to your intestines. I knew what I was getting rid of when I went to the toilet...it was bombs away (like heavy stones)

I was told it can stay in your system about 1 week

Hey its perfectly fine for it to not turn your stool white mine never did and I'm alive to tell the tale

I imagine it would of made me constipated but I am so frequently I wouldn't of noticed haha fybogel usually works great for me I buy it over the counter
