    Certain herbal/natural remedies with SSRI's

After reading a lot of posts in this section I have been intrigued by some of the people who swear by their none prescription medicenes. The ones that get talked about the most seem to be bach's rescue remedy, valerian, 5HTP and Vitamin B complex. I am looking to combat deep set GAD. I currently take 20mgs of ciralex (escitalopram).

The obviously safest one's are the vitamin B and Bach's remedy which I purchased this morning. Bach's remedy £4.99 from Holland & Barrett (shopping tip). Vitamin B complex time release extra strength 100's.

Now my dilenma comes with the other two, valerian and 5HTP and possible interaction with my cipralex. So now down to the point, can I have your views, tales and experiences of the two items whilst using SSRI's please so I can make more of an informed decision before I use myself as a guinea pig.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Hi Andy

I know its safe to take the vitamins but as the the 5htp and especially the valerian, i wouldnt take without speaking to chemist or doc as they may interact with the cipralex
