Another Blood Test with an Abnormality

I saw a neurologist and never had an MRI or anything else.

They did exactly what the GP did to you.

Oh, I never knew that i presume tests were always done, I thought if a GP referred you to a Neurologist it was to be checked and tested by an expert.

They do neurological tests not scans unless they feel you need them.

I was always under the impression that Neurologists always done an MRI & EMG and possibly a NCV if you were referred to them?

So the test my doctor done on me is the same basic exam that a Neurologist would do if i was referred to them?

I told you that eggy, the neuro will only really do the same test as the doc. Ive been to a neurologists 3 times and ive only ever had the same test as the doc's done.
You will only be referred for further tests if he feels that they are needed.

Yeah it makes sense Ladybird, All i wanna know is what is going on or at least an opinion and it would be nice to have tests done to give me total peace of mind.

The same as you had I think in a lot of ways

Tested reflexes, made me stand on one leg, walk down a line.

Umm made me push their hand away against them holding it.

Yep sounds very similar to what i had.

Similar to me when I went to the Neurologist. And when I got her written assessment report to take to a new dr. She was very thorough in explaining my responses, reflexes, reactions. They do notice a lot more than we think, if there was anything of further question to them.

Well i went to the doctors today and there's nothing of any concern but when you speak to the receptionists to get your results they make it sound bad.
