Family with noro - 2 wks later

Hi everyone! So I am a nanny, and have been on Holiday break until today 1/16. When I got here this morning the Mom informed me that they did have the norovirus two days after Christmas, and her husband got sick New Year’s Day. But she cleaned all the surfaces and everything and have been fine since.

Is there still a chance I could contract the virus? I’m about to clean again with bleach wipes to be on the safe side. The baby also sneezed in my face first thing this morning. Someone please give me some reassurance.

The sickness bug will have gone, but of course if the baby has a cold that might be passed on.

Your good to go. Noro lives on UNCLEANED surfaces up to 2 weeks, after that you are good to go. She cleaned, you cleaned and its been well over 2 weeks. I wouldn't worry at this point. You can't catch noro through sneezing.
