On proprananol 10 days now

Been on it for 10 days, idea being to try instesd of diazepam. Gp said try 10mg twice a day.
As said been on 10 days, and i noticed more when i get up it goes dark for few seconds. Thought Low blood pressure

Anyway at hospital on fri (discomfort in chest, not palps) and my bp was 98/57
They said slightly low.

So, after 10 days do you think uts ok to just STOP them??
Or taper down?

How much diaZepam was you taking and for how long? That propranolol dosage is very low I take 160mg slow release for anxiety. If your prone to low blood pressure then propranolol in theory could make that worse? Or if you have taken diazepam for a while it could be withdrawal from that?

Also stopping after 10 days of 20mg is absolutely fine I stopped 80mg after 2 years whilst I went through depression then back on anxiety

Diazepam is for as & when 2mg , but recently been taking it every day for about 14 days. As bad at moment with anxiety/depression so haven’t stopped the diazepam, so not withdrawl.
Gp said 10mg, propranolol as I hate the thoughts of taking meds to get well. So know it’s realky low to others.

I don’t really know if I’m prone to low bp, when gp takes it she says it’s fine. Only had it taken at hospital on Friday and was told then slightly low.

Don’t know what to do now, stop or carry on with it but if I have low bp propranolol isn’t good to be on?
