Because stress/anxiety is a real physical thing as well as a mental one, hence why the effects of it are too. The pain is real, but pain isn’t necessarily dangerous.

I am going to try the pod casts, I need to find a way to relax my arm muscles.
Reassurance from AnE is almost addictive, the drs have said my heart is fine and this was only on Monday, but maybe things have changed.
My life is very difficult at the moment, no job, elderly parents and little contact with anyone.

Things haven’t changed, you just have a new thing to think about.
Do you have any hobbies? Any way of distracting yourself?

Going to try to sell some stuff on eBay today and to have a day that is not centred around my health.
Its really difficult, but I want a life that is calmer and happier. I will keep trying.
Thank you for all the helpful replies that I have had x

You really don't want to get into the habit of going to A&E to get a brief reassurance fix. It doesn't work, it puts you at risk of picking up whatever is going around and it's a terrible waste of NHS resources.

You sound really bored with your life? What would you like to do to fill the hours if you could choose anything?

No going to AnE is not a good idea and I’m determined not to go again.
I am going to try to do some online courses, as not working at the moment.
Ear Pain is back at the moment, but trying to reassure myself that I’ve had this a few times and I think it probably is tmj, it’s just so hard to be rational. Every sore throat, ear or jaw pain is Covid, which I know is ridiculous as no temp or cough!
Lockdown has definitely made my HA much worse.
Trying to stop grinding my teeth, as this doesn’t help with the ear pain.
    Iam lonely which doesn’t help...

I'm sure it doesn't but you can't accept HA as a constant companion. It's a false friend. You may think it's part of you now and what would you do without it because it takes up a lot of time but you truly deserve a better life. I take it you are restricted by your parents' needs? What online courses are you interested in?

I use to work in a school and maybe will do some courses connected to this.
Im really spiralling this morning, my ear and jaw are hurting, I think it’s tmj as I had a panic attack this morning, but it’s painful and Im thinking covid again.
Living with elderly parents is difficult, I feel like my life is over.
Im tempted to order a covid test to just check ..
