Again, respectfully, what is a GP going to say? It's hemorrhoids, swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum and anus that cause discomfort and bleeding, which has been the essence of this now 129 page thread since last year. Add to that a shit diet and anxiety and there you have it.

I understand you're suggesting something that helped you in your situation but I respectfully disagree. There's no reason to doubt the medical professional nor what everyone here already knew. To continue to feed the dragon should be highly discouraged at this point.

    Anyway.. its over... THE END

So everyone can give their own opinion except for me because mine isn’t along the lines of “get over it”.

I think the trouble is for Toby, he doesn't ask the questions whilst he is there with the medical professional, so maybe Scass suggested it for partly that reason. He always has LOADS of questions afterwards, which he then comes on here with. He has said that he's not doubting the diagnosis, which is great to hear !

Scass... say anything you want. If you feel enabling Toby's anxiety is beneficial, then go for it. I "respectfully" disagree with that approach, especially in this case and his post history.

I should add that Burk's method of getting the nasties back down the trapdoor was to, in his words, "give it a good bonking"

I expect it's back to his GP to manage so there should be some follow up anyway? Just confirming something is pretty pointless if they don't intend to treat it and I would imagine a GP would want to make some treatment recommendations, if the specialist didn't (unlikely), and to least say come back if symptoms persist.

Mole burrows can be quite extensive too, y'know
Ha ha, moles, badgers, rabbits, manholes, trap doors, ant nests.....so many choices.

I appear to be really annoying you and I apologise, but he posted that and then went on to ask several times if anyone understood what the consultant had meant.

I received 2 diagnoses for different things. As someone who suffers with anxiety I found it really helpful to discuss them with my own GP who could offer advice and support. If he doesn’t want to do this then that’s fine, it’s his decision and I was just offering my experience.

Get well soon Toby. I’m happy to delete my posts if they trouble you.
