Does anyone else get an itchy bottom with anxiety? :(
Diagnosis: ADHD (Combined Type) with GAD. Had Post Concussive Syndrome, as well as Occipital Neuralgia and IBS. Recovered from PCS in May 2013. Diagnosed with a kidney disease called Gitelman Syndrome in November 2015.
On natural remedies currently.

Anxiety is known to cause various types of itchiness. Yeah, sometimes I guess but I had had roids for over 20 years and they come with that anyway.
I've had bouts of skin itching that has just been from anxiety so I would say it possible to have an itchy bum from it. I think I've seen others say they have and I think FMP has coined a phrase for it as it is so common from his experience on here (if I've got that right) so I expect he may post shortly. I think he phrase was about the bum twitching issue.
Bum itching can be many things though. It could be roids, worms, even just some inflammation from harsh soaps or rough clothing, if you strain it could be because it is healing in that area, etc. Not of these are anything to worry about though, they are very common and easily to deal with, if needed at all.
