Hi im sorry to be so explicit but needed to talk about it,i put a finger inside my anus and there seems to be something pressing down through the wall of my anus not at all sure what it is,at first i thought it was my backbone but i havent got a clue.:

No its not painful i just couldnt part with what was in my back passage,ive been so anxious lately as ive recently lost my mum,i do have bad anxiety issues and find it desperately hard to relax...

Haemorrhoids ?
I'm amazed you can bear to stick a finger up there - I recently had to give myself an enema prior to a post-55 sigmoidoscopy camera inspection) and I hated doing it ... for the same reason I only once managed to insert a suppository.

I regularly get external haemorrhoids so they are noticeable - they're itchy, but thankfully never painful and then they burst and can be spectacularly bloody.
My bowel inspection revealed minor diverticular "disease" -.

Both bowel issues are difficult to explain as I have been a wholefood vegan for most of the past 30-odd years- so constipation is rare enough to be memorable - and for the past 6 years have passed nothing firmer than a 6 on the Bristol scale - which may be anxiety-related "IBS".
