    Best non drowsy PRN MED

    HI all

    Ive been through
    all SSRIS
    amitriptyline
    PROMAZINE
    QUIETAPINE
    PROPRANOL
    DIAZAPAN

    DONT LIKE ANY OF THEM and don't want long term med just a medication that actually stops severe acute anxiety without knocking you off your feet and making you a zombie ...any one any ideas please

    The problem you have is anxiety is over excitement in the brain to dull that down you need to calm the brain hence the use of sedating meds - tranquilliser, antihistamines etc

    Have you given buspar/buspirone a try?
