To add to what's already been said, you've said that drinking too much IS the problem, you know that doing it WILL make you feel like crap. You say you resent not being able to drink yourself into a problem.

Your choice is really this simple. Carry on and make things worse, or just accept it and stop drinking too much. What else do you expect people to say?

Alcohol is a major trigger for anxiety and depression. If you can't control the amount that you drink, then stop. Saying things like 'the problem is I can't control myself' is actually a pretty pointless thing to say when asking for advice, again....what do you expect people to say?
