Are swollen nodes for years concerning?

I've had swollen lymph nodes in my neck and groin for 6 years and they've not grown or anything. If this were cancer for example would I know by now?

So what will give you that reassurance? Besides the obvious how long do you think lymphoma goes on before it gets serious?

Well I've heard about the slow growing indolent types...although that'd be extremely rare in my age category. But I don't know how long people have their nodes before diagnosis

So if 25 people reply and say you don’t have that, and you’re fine, will you believe them?

I know at my peak anxiety I could have 25 hundred people tell me I’m fine and it wouldn’t matter

I guess no but if other people have experienced the same I guess I gain some comfort

I’m no doctor, but I would assume you’re absolutely fine, especially after such a long period. If you’re really worried, go see someone then be willing to let it go when they clear you
