I hope this has happened to people before, because i feel like a right weirdo!
I just got all panicky a bit ago because i started to think about life,death,afterlifes,infinity and how the world started and when its going to end.. i have no answers for any of these questions yet i let them spin around my head and now i feel like i'm really not connected to anything.. i don't want to feel like this forever

Hi neon

Your not a weirdo at all, anxiety plays many tricks and this is one of them. Of course no one has the answers to all these quetions. Many people, poeple who don't even suffer anxiety think of these things from time to time, but when your anxiety rises you look into it tooo deep and get yourself scared.

I know its hard but try and distract yourself, this will pass in time, its not going to last forever. The feeling of being not conected maybe DP/DR see if any of these links help you understand a little more

sweetheart you are not weird at all.
I went through a terrible stage of worrying about a nuclear war and watching the planes in the sky thinking of the world ending.
It will pass, dont dwell on all these thoughts, when they start to trouble you sing a song or draw a picture, distraction really helps and you will find that you wont think so deeply.

thanks for your messages! The thoughts have kinda decreased but if i hear anything to do with death! my heart jumps and i feel so sick!its just absolutely terrifying, even though i believe in an afterlife, the word eternity is terrifying! and incomprehensible! i just want these thoughts to stop, i'm trying to push them out of my head but what if ty keep coming back forever and i always feel like this? i'm scared :(
