Has anyone here had this therapy? I have just had two sessions so very early days. I had Cognitive Behavioural therapy several years ago but I did not seem to gain much benefit, but that may have been because at the time I was on medication and i do not seem to remember taking much in.. My doctor suggested CAT as i suffer from bouts of extreme anxiety and have very poor coping abilities..I recognize/understand where all my fears etc have come from but desperately want to learn how to deal with things in a different and more positive way and as i understand it CAT is able to achieve this...I would just be interested to know if anyone else out there had experienced this therapy and had had postive results...
