    Smile Paul McKenna Book

Im currently reading his Change Your Life In 7 Days book, recommened by my councilor. Im on day six today and so far its pretty good. Some parts dont relate to me though (which my councilor said wouldnt) but its kind of like a CBT and the Mind Programming cd is really relaxing. Maybe you could give it a try and see how it works for you?

I've got this one and also "Instant Confidence". I've read them both but have never had the will power to carry the exercises through. Visualisation is something I find really difficult. I just can't seem to grasp it.

The one I found difficult in particular was the one where you had to view the "new you", go inside and then visualise and even more confident "new you" and so on.

I thought the CD was really good but I soon gave up on that too. I found it too long and after a week or so it seemed more like a chore to listen to it. If he's made it about 15 minutes or so I think I could have kept it up.

All the best with the book.

    Hi Milly,

Yes. It's actually very similar. Even the CD is almost the same but a little longer. I have no doubt that if you can carry out these techniques they will benefit you but like yourself I just can't seem to do it. From my own point of view I don't know if it's because I find it hard to get in a relaxed state even using relaxation techniques. That is why I think I find the CD too long- I just get very irritated after a while knowing how long it's going to take.

    All the best
