Hi, About a year and a bit ago I had an upper endoscopy because sometimes with acidic foods I felt a burning sensation in my esophagus. The digestive doctor took a sample for Helicobacter bacteria which was negative and he gave me Omeprazol to take for a month and I felt better. Now when I swallow acidic foods again or spiced (black pepper, vinegary, tomato sauce or very salty) I feel a burning sensation in my chest with any other food I am ok. When I looked on the internet for information (burning pain when swallowing acidic foods) with these symptoms the first thing that comes is oesophageal cancer, so I am getting worried. Has anybody experienced that sensation? Thank you.
