It does lionman. Headspace sounds like a good idea.
A tip, don't just use calming apps or similar just when you are struggling. Make them part of your routine. It's like nipping it in the bud before it kicks off.

Yeah, I have it scheduled for 1pm each day which is lunchtime at work and I shouldn’t miss too many calls or anything.

    How are you all doing?

No real change for me, can’t get a handle on this avoidance that’s currently controlling my life.

I was actually wondering how you are the other day, especially considering you hadn't posted on here for a month.

I was thinking probably 'no news is good news' at the time, but in this particular instance I am obviously wrong.

Thanks for thinking of us bud, but no, it’s definitely not ‘no news is good news’, it’s more ‘hanging on by a thread’.

I’ve just stepped away to try and stay away from anxiety and focus on my therapy but it hasn’t helped, so pretty stuck right now.

    How are you doing?

I'm up and down, but I generally feel as though I've been better able to cope with most things over the past couple of weeks.

Mind you, I've been trying to be less emotionally embroiled in the news headlines, politics, etc, over the same period (without ignoring it all completely), which has inevitably helped.

    That’s positive then mate!

I imagine that would make a huge difference to you, great idea.

You hang on in there lionman. And well done for persevering with the therapy sessions.

    Thanks Carnation.

It’s all proving a bit pointless, I just keep hoping that it will change at some point if I keep trying. It’s still just this one main fear / avoidance that’s holding me back. I just wish it would have landed on literally anything else.

    How are you doing?

It might be pointless by try to see it as going through a transition. You are very much awake! You have fight and that's a good sign. The 'moon stuff' is just your chosen example of deep embedded fear. If it wasn't that, it would be something else. Avoidance is your protection as you see it at this present time. Look at as being uncomfortable as opposed to being fearful.
You are strong despite what you think, keep going!

    I'm ok, thanks for asking.
