Sharp headache ?

Morning all, so for the last 18 hours I have been experiencing sporadic brief sharp pain in the side of my head. Generally it ranges from mild to moderate pain, no need for pain killers. It's the second time in a couple of months i have experienced this and i am a little unsettled by it now. I do wonder if it's muscle related as it feel close to the surface of the head. Has anyone else experienced this ?

I quite often get localised one sided headaches. They are sharp but don’t last long enough for pain killers. The closest thing i can find on the internet is an ice-pick headache. Does that sound like yours?
