Dizziness - I hate it, any help?

Can any one help with what to do when the horrible dizziness attacks?
I always have it when I suffer with anxiety.
It lasts all day usually and really freaks me out - I am taking quiet life (which is helping with the lack of sleep), aconite and also kalis phos for the exhaustion. But what can I take to stop the dizziness.
    Please help.

    Nicki

PS Sometimes I feel as if I might pass out.

I had it constantly. It was probably first to come and last to go. You have to just TRY and ignore it really. You are doing the right thing to get rest. I felt like I would pass out at times but never did.
Sorry, but there's not much more I can say. It seems the more you worry about the dizziness then the dizzier you get.
Try and ignore and just do other things that you like doing.
Try and get exercise as well.

Hope you have a good xmas.

    Cheers,
    Trev

I have had this one again in the last couple of weeks myself - although I no longer fear it, I can't say I like it either.

I do just try and ignore it though as I know it will go in its own good time. Meanwhile if I am out shopping then I try to keep focused on the path or one particular point rather than sweeping my head around too much.

I know that you are having problems with dizziness, my mother does as well and she has found that these vertigo exercises are a great help....you might want ot give them a go.

A vertigo exercise can be done while reclining, sitting up or when walking. The Brant-Doroff exercise for vertigo is one way you can speed up the healing process and bring an end to the symptoms. The steps in this procedure are:

    1. Sit on the edge of the bed and lean quickly to the side that is causing the most symptoms of vertigo.
    2. Remain in this position for 30 seconds or until the vertigo goes away if it is less than that amount of time.
    3. Sit up. If symptoms reappear, wait until they subside. Repeat the procedure on the other side.
This vertigo exercise should be done at least 20 times a day.

Another exercise you can do is to turn in place. Place the chair in front of you and have a wall behind you so you can use either of them for support.

    1. Stand with you feet slightly apart and with your arms by your sides.
    2. Turn a half-circle and stop for 10 seconds. If there is any dizziness, wait until it subsides.
    3. Repeat this exercise 5 times, twice a day

    "This too, shall pass"
