Re: 4 weeks of swollen tonsils + Flu-like symptoms too.
Seems it was something stuck in the end, managed to get rid of the little sucker.
Still worrying about groin node, seems inflamed still and also visible. Doubt it's "clinically swollen" but still driving me nuts! If I was feeling better, I probably wouldn't be worrying about it.

I've been trying to keep my hands away from my lymph nodes over the past few days as I said I would. Since my hands seem to be somewhat restless, one of the things I've been keeping them occupied with is my hair.
Now I'm worrying about that too! It seems like my head is lumpier than normal.
Really going mad here I think. :roflmao:
Re: 4 weeks of swollen tonsils + Flu-like symptoms too.
Okay! Dumb worries about my lumpy head aside, there's still some symptoms ticking me off.
This morning I woke feeling freezing cold again, thermostat reads 21*c. I touch myself (not like that!) and I feel normal temperature as far as I can tell.
Also noticed the past few days I seem to be getting randomized ear pain. Both ears crackle when I yawn too. (Nothing new in one ear, the other one doesn't normally). But the pain seems to switch between each ear, and sometimes it seems to be affecting both.
Can ear pain be an anxiety symptom? Or is this "mystery virus" moving around again?
Also had some painful swallowing too, seemed to be my right tonsil, but this has come and gone too.
Still no clue what's going on tbh. Still worrying something serious is attacking me.
Re: 4 weeks of swollen tonsils + Flu-like symptoms too.
Just had a lump of bloody phlegm out of my throat, still just a virus and anxiety? I doubt it. :weep:

Dude you are spiralling now, this isn't good. Yeah you have a virus I don't doubt this, you also have HA its not life threatning (I seriously cant reassure you any more as the cycle will continue and it not good for you either) Can I ask have you been Googling recently? Take care ATB

I see this too. Just last week you were staying away from posting and the last few days you've been back to documenting every niggle. The dragon is regaining his fire.
Break the feeding behavior and the fire goes out.
Positive thoughts

Yeah, you're not wrong about that! Still worrying about things and getting myself into a state again.
I've not been googling! Just thinking all the wrong thoughts more than anything I guess.
I hope it's just a virus, but it's certainly taking its time in going, coming up to almost 3 months now. :scared15:

Thanks FMP! If you're both seeing the same thing, it might be time to try another break. :yesyes:
I'll try not dwell on every niggle too! But the painful swallowing is worrying me at the minute, seems to only be with saliva though which is very odd.
The lump of bloody phlegm really freaked me out too, have had brown specks before, but not actual blood.
Re: 4 weeks of swollen tonsils + Flu-like symptoms too.
What else are you doing on your self imposed breaks? Because it seems like you’re just finding new things to fret about?
I know how it happens, I’m noticing a lot of symptoms in myself at the moment. It’s best to try and take charge now. Start whatever tried and tested relaxation methods you have. Break the spiral, you can do it.
It’s still just a virus. It probably will go a lot quicker if you stop piling more anxiety on.

Well one good thing is you haven't been Googling :shades: The thing is if 2 of us have noticed the same thing how many others also seen it? So you have already accomplished not Googling try and not dwell on these things the virus is just a virus which wont go on it's own, wether that means having your tonsils out and/or some strong antibiotics only your dr and ENT specialist knows what to do :) Now take that break away and do something enjoyable :) ATB

I've been reading, playing some games, and just trying to keep myself occupied. I think my mind still wonders about looking for problems though.
I've not been touching my nodes either, or at least not anywhere as much. :yesyes:
Will try to follow your example Scass! :D I need to find some new hobbies too I think.

Yeah, screw Google! :D
Will mention all the new and lingering stuff to my doc next week, and hopefully I can get some help with ridding myself of this "gunk". :roflmao:
Break commencing now! Will try not to read or post anything health related until after my appointment.
TTAYL! Thanks for the support again everyone. :D
Re: 4 weeks of swollen tonsils + Flu-like symptoms too.
