Have a histeroscopy on Monday and have to have general anaesthetic. I had it once before for removal of wisdom teeth and that scared me enough. Been on lustral now for 3 weeks and apparently this can interact with GA. Does anyone know about this? They do know what I am on but even NHS website mentions ssri with GA

I think you had another thread on this and I replied on that one. The anesthetist will talk to your before the op and ask about your medications. If they already know that you are taking it it should be fine. I haven't taken Lustral but I was able to continue taking my antidepressants. I think at the worst it can make you a bit more drowsy but the anesthetist will adjust the GA to suit.
