High cholesterol panic
So my gp tan bloods yesterday and my over all cholesterol is 6.9. He just rang and told me no need to panic. It's fine and I just need a healthier diet. I told him my diet is healthy but high cholesterol runs in my mum's side effects and my uncle had a massive heart attack due to his being over 10. He said oknow we will monitor you annually.
He said GPS do a score thing and they assess the risk and he said at my age 6.9 is no risk? He said there test is out of 10 and I scored 0.5. He said you're slim and only 36 you're fine. But my cousins are in their 20s and on statins due to this being hereditary.
Should I not be worried?
