Hi HappyOne,

I get migraines too. I also used to see the aura and got extremely sick to my stomach when I was younger. I now only get them when it is going to rain, don't ask me why as I don't know! I take a med called relpax that works great for me and phenergan for the nausea. The relpax is not a pain killer it opens your arteries or something like that but works great. See if they have it over there. The phenergan you can't take if you have to work or drive you mostly have to go to bed with it. I have had migraines for 30 years ever since a car accident. I should become a weather gal as I can accurately predict the weather more than they can. If we can help with your worries let us know. Hoping you are having a better afternoon.

Thanks. I am fine, I just have a friend who is a bit unwell just now but she seems a bit better today, honest I am fine.
I haven't had a migraine for ages, but weirdly I don't always get headaches! I sometimes just get flashing lights and nausea and sometimes a headache. This isn't a migraine though, it was purely tension from worrying about my friend, but now that I know she is a little better, the tension is easing. Thanks hun

Glad you had a good day. I agree your Dad would be so proud of you. As for car trips, I am okay when I drive but when hubby drives I have almost broken my foot pressing my imaginary brake on my side of the car and all my nails are in the arm rests of the car, LOL. As long as I'm in control I'm fine.

Lisa, you would love the first place we are going to. It is a cottage standing on it's own in the middle of nowhere, just a stones throw from the sea. It should have it all really, silence, countryside, sea, nature.
The second week is near the sea but not at it, but still in the middle of nowhere!
I am just getting anx about being away for so long. I have this horrid feeling of dread creeping upon me.
I have a nursery trip today and I am not looking forward to it.
