unusually light period

So I got my period Tues night on time. Tues night was spotting, Wed was normal heavy flow then Thursday I had my period for half the day. I had some red blood yesterday. Today I have like nothing. Has anyone else had this? I usually have decent spotting for a week. I use birth control and I just had my pap and and a pelvic ultrasound which was both normal. But WTF?

My period has done that about 3 times in the last year. I asked my GYN about it and she said as long as the next one is normal it's fine. Probably stress related.
