hi has any ever tryed propranolol for anxiety just that my dr has just given them to me xxxx

hi. i take 80mg a day with citalopram. they do not change your mood but beta blockers help to block the effects of adrenalin so you will feel a little calmer. they work within about half an hour i think. some people only take them on an as and when basis but if you take regular doses then after a few days you should feel somewhat calmer. x
