I was wondering if anyone would be interested in being my real life pen pal?

As in not email or what's app. But letters. I am very creative and am looking for ways to improve my mental health. I'd love to find a friend I can write to who also understands the challenge of health anxiety but has similar interests to me so we can also maybe do art swaps?

I am 35 yo female. I would only like to penpal with other females please.

I am married and have two kids under 10.

I suffer from health anxiety and generalised anxiety. There is also a question of being nuerodivergent though I am not diagnosed yet.


I love: anything creative. I have a million creative hobbies and I am also a published children's book illustrator. I'd love to find someone to swap zines and little drawings or crafts with.

I love horror movies and anything scary. I love to read.

I'm also very outdoorsy and like to walk and hike and camp and look for mushrooms and birds and other probably potentially geeky things like that.

I home educate my children so I spend a lot of time with them outdoors exploring too.

I'm very sarcastic and I have a dreadful and dark sense of humour that probably offends people when I don't mean it to.
