hi, i was diagnosed with high bp about 3 months ago but is now under control with tablets, starting to worry what damage i could of done because i cant remember the last time i had bp checked before i was diagnosed maybe a few years???im 37 lost 3 stone recently but im a smoker try to eat well walk every day about another half stone to lose,had ecg about a month ago and blood tests done,they said it was all normal,but starting to worry what damage ive done ready.

Your main concern should be to pack up the fags ...they will be doing more harm than anything else ..I smoke too and know how hard it is to pack up .But if you are so worried about your health maybe getting intouch with the Dr he will be able to point you in the right direction to quitting .The NHS helps people with a QUIT SMOKING Pack and your Dr can perscribe patches if you enter the programme . good luck Sue x
