    dr's advice re: palpitations

I mentioned the fact that they have been a lot worse over the last few days and she said not to worry too much, palpitations do that especially with increased anxiety; also my periods started on sunday and this could have an effect, basically to try not to panic. She seems convinced after the ecgs that I'm OK so I guess I should take her reassurance on board - still worry about having long QT or Brugada (I think) syndrome etc but both my parents have normal hearts so I'm praying mines is too. She says basically I need a break - and need to look after myself! So hopefully all OK

Glad all went good at the docs. You don't have Long QT. It would have shown on your ECG, as the same with Brugada. These conditions are hereditary also so you'd have known by now if they were in your family.

Do what your doctor tells you and take a break.
