Overwhelming nausea

For the past 9 days I’ve been intermittently feeling very nauseas at random points of the day, bad enough it stops me doing what I’m doing and I have to wait for it to subside.

I’ve not been able to pin it down to any particular food, activity, time, anxiety level or anything like that. One minute I’m fine, the next I can’t ignore how sick I feel.

I haven’t vomited, some of the times I have had to go the toilet after (I wonder if that’s an anxiety response) and I sometimes have pains below my ribs, my left side, and in my back.

I get the odd pain in those places anyway so I can’t say if they’re related.

I came off omeprazole 2 days ago which helped with acid reflux somewhat. The sickness I’ve been feeling recently has felt completely different to the occasional nausea I felt when my acid reflux was bad.

It’s not that easy for me to see a doctor at the moment. Does anybody have any advice about what could help or when to see someone?

It’s making me very anxious but I’m trying my best to keep it at bay.

Hey Angelo, how are you doing now? I'm going through some pretty bad nausea myself at the moment. Can't sleep. I got some prochlorperazine from the chemist which was really effective but wore off after a couple of hours.
