Hi everyone, found this website while looking for advice on anxiety on the internet and thought I would give it a go!

I have suffered from anxiety for nearly a year now, after fainting/vomiting in a public place. After this I began to become more anxious in social situations and this got worse and worse until I began to avoid going out and will stay in for long periods of time.

As well as starting CBT soon, I have also been prescribed Propranolol (40mg - up to 3 times a day) but I am worried about taking this as part of my anxiety is panicking that I will feel out of control or ill.

So I was wondering how these tablets would make me feel and will they stop the nausea/quick breathing/not being able to focus/hot flashes I experience when panicking?

Any advice would be lovely! x
