Hi Guys,

I've recently found out through cancer genetics that a parent of mine has a very high possibility of having the HNPCC gene (Lynch Syndrome)...this results in a 50/50 chance it's passed down to me and I've to start having regular screening, mainly colonoscopies I think, asap, along with discussion about the high risks of uterus and ovarian cancer, along with others.

This has come as a huge blow after 18 months of waiting on the testing, and if I was on top of any anxiety I had, well I'm certainly not now.

Just wondering if anyone is in a similar position with regards to being at high risk of cancer and how they deal with the anxiety that comes along with it....?
