Fluoxetine/Prozac

This is the 3rd time in my life I have been on Prozac - It takes a long time - I will be 6 weeks tomorrow - when it finally kicks in its great - I think it's different for everybody- I am pretty down at the moment - but will have to hold in there! I have OCD quite bad coupled with depression - GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Hello I started taking fluoxetine 20mg around 8-9 weeks ago (mainly for 'pure obsessional' thoughts) but I also experience some depression and anxiety too. Like you I've been on it twice previously - incidentally though, both times I was on it before, the side effects were minimal...this time however things have been so difficult, I guess my body must have changed somewhat (or I've been getting older!).

I had a period around 6 weeks ago where I felt great, but I've since had a temporary blip , so fingers crossed things continue to look up!
