Does anyone know roughly how long you have to wait for a colonoscopy, just wondered. Was referred on October 15th, is it usually within so many weeks, I rang the hospital but they just said I am on a waiting list. Thanks

It varies so much to be honest from 2 weeks to 3 months.

GP said it's not ibd or crohns as blood tests ok. I'm thinking bowel cancer obviously
I do wonder how they say it isn't Crohn's from blood tests as I know there are markers for inflammation but I have Crohn's yet my blood tests are normal most of the time.
It could be a food intolerance or diverticular disease or in fact just good old IBS but the colonoscopy will be done to rule out anything sinister at least.
