Racing heartbeat and dry mouth are common with anxiety.
I often peak at 105bpm and like you, it subsides back to a normal rate.
Still scary though. I tend to carry a bottle of water around with me for the dry mouth.
Anxiety sufferers become more dehydrated than others, sometimes without even knowing it. Coupled with the hot weather as well, so we need to drink more fluids.
Right, now you know what you have and shingles can be quite painful.
And, what is the cause of shingles, well I think stress has something to do with it, but I know you can get when you are run down and is some sort of infection to do with the nerves.
