I wouldn't expect that you'll feel much difference mentally within two weeks of increasing a dose. I'm about 4 weeks in on an increase in Venlafaxine, I think I'm beginning to feel a very slight improvement.
One of the reasons I'm suffering with anxiety is fear of performance with women and was told told this drug would relax me but so far it hasn't done anything and its actually taken away morning glory so I'm in even worse position Than I was in before I stated taken them
How long have you been taking venlafaxine (in total, not just the increased dose)?
About 6 weeks
Ok. I'm not sure if six weeks is really long enough to judge whether they are actually going to help. I know a lot of anti depressants can cause sexual problems. But I'm wondering if it's possible your "performance anxiety", and the fact that you are aware of this as a potential side effect of Venlafaxine is what is actually causing the problem. I say this because 75mg is actually a pretty low dose, I take 225mg. In either case, this performance anxiety that you are talking about sounds more like a psychological problem, drugs are not going to solve it. They may help alleviate some depression and anxiety you are experiencing from this problem, but unless you address the issue your problems are very unlikely to go away.
