Five People You Meet in Heaven (Jon Voight)
Based on the book by Mitch Albom.
In the simplest of terms: dead dude confronts past.
7/10 (the book was 10/10)
A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
I enjoyed that movieNora.
The Irishman.A bit long but bloody good 9/10
A Street Cat Named Bob
Storyline: Cat saves bloke's life.
Third viewing - each time an emotional wreck. This time I watched it with my son (and animal appreciator extraordinaire - especially pugs and cats)
This emotional rollercoaster took on an extra dimension when we found out that Bob passed away a few months ago... Rest in peace, you beautiful boy. X
But we cheered up slightly when we found out that the sequel, A Gift From Bob is due for release in November (hopefully)
It's a life affirming story, and it's all the more special because it's true.
10/10

You cannot discover new oceans, until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.
Watched Loving Pablo. About the drug lord Escobar
Joker, easily an 8.5 out of 10... maybe even a 9.
(POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT) A phenomenal origin story of the Clown Prince of Chaos and a tale on mental health. Is he a victim of the system and his multiple mental health issues? Set prior to the age of Batman, Arthur Fleck tries to survive in the grimy down-trodden city that is Gotham, while trying to make a success as a comedian with mental health issues and an ill mother. With the world set against him and not a single superhero around you see the daily abuse he gets as everything starts to fall in to chaos. Some even theorise that a lot of it in his head and there was never a turning back point. As a supervillain, no one holds a candle to the Joker, the man that turned Superman in to a villain (Injustice story arc) by tricking him in to killing his wife and unborn child, just for a laugh and to prove the man of steel is as flawed as everyone.
I've heard great raves about the Joker, but unfortunately for me I have a phobia of clowns so can't bring myself to watch it.
