Can't wait to see that movie nora.
Liar - Helen Miram, Ian McKellen. Brilliant twist at the end. 9/10

The teenager chose to see the movie Lightyear last night. It was this or Maverick but he hasn't seen Top Gun yet sooooo..
What's there to say? It's a Pixar movie so it's got everything going on - laughs, sad bits, action - the works.
Star of the movie for me was Sox (the robot cat)
8/10 for the movie, 1/10 for my hotdog (it was rank)
Also, Buzz looks tasty. (and this wouldn't be the first time I've fancied an animated character)
A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
Ghostbusters Afterlife 6/10. Typical Christmas afternoon film. Nowt special, small appearance by the 3 original ghostbusters with a nice nod to the deceased Harold Ramis but generally about Egon Spenglers grandkids discovering their ghostbusting heritage.
Dune, 8/10 better than the older film. A bit like Star Wars… Sequel lined up at the end. I enjoyed it but it’s my type of thing.
Matrix resurrection…7/10 Not got the punch of the others. Seems to be a long build up to the action at the end. Shave that beard off and cut that hair Keanu. I love men with long hair but on Neo? No.
It’s a cruel beast that you feed…..
Ghost…Spillways
Elvis 11/10
It's a long film (2 1/2 hours) but it was WELL WORTH the numb bum!
Elvis footage mixed in with Austin Butler's outstanding performance, and to emotional effect - especially at the end. (Go see the movie and you'll see what I mean)
Thor: Love and Thunder 9/10
Chris Hemsworth gets his kit off for the masses (and we were not disappointed)

Lol, you've found your vocation nora, a film critic
Darksky, I'm willing to put up with the beard if Keanu Reeves is wearing. He could have full facial hair and I'd still like him, lol.
Just finished watching the The Mission Impossible films (6). No 3 stands out for me. Although the stunts just get better and better. 2 more films on the way....
I’ve been watching those Mrs.C. Last one was Fallout. Probably the one I liked best. Mind you, it was helped along by Henry Cavill, so no complaints from me
on Netflix I recently watched the Rise of the Krays followed by the Fall of the Krays. Both were very good, violent and full of bad language. Now, as a devotee at the altar of Tom Hardy, I am loathed to compare to Legend. However the chap who played Ronnie Kray was excellent. You could really see the madness in his eyes. So if you like that sort of thing, I really recommend both of them. 10/10

Went to see Where the Crawdads Sing last night. I'd read the book and thought it was good so I thought it would be interesting to see the film. Loved it, but needed a hanky.
Hello all, have not been on here for a while. Was able to go to see Belfast . black and white film. small screen but I enjoyed it.
Had DVD Green Book as a Christmas present. I was overjoyed as I loved the film.
Don't think there is anything going on at the cinema because of th covid Love to all xxx
Magic
Benny & Joon
A young Johnny Depp plays a sweet-natured Buster Keaton wannabe, who befriends an artistic and unique woman with a mental disability.
It's beautiful, hilarious and heartwarming.
My second favourite film of all time.
10/10
